Supersite Transition 2018: Secondary Education FAQs

  • When will my program's existing Supersite no longer be available? The existing Supersite(s) will be retired and inaccessible to students and teachers on July 1, 2018.
  • Which program's Supersite will users at my institution be transitioned to?¬†To learn more, click here.
  • Can I transfer my program's existing Supersite course, course assignments or course settings into the upgraded Supersite? No.
  • Can I upload student scores from an existing program's Supersite into the upgraded Supersite? No.
  • Can I keep a record of my existing program's Supersite course assignments? Yes, but you must do so by June 30, 2018. Use the Advanced Export feature in the gradebook. To learn how, click¬†here.¬†
  • Can I preserve my students‚Äô scores for courses in my program's existing Supersite? Yes, but you must do so by June 30, 2018.¬†Use the Report feature in the gradebook. To learn how, click¬†here.¬†
  • How soon does our school/district get access to a program's upgraded Supersite?
    • Supersite Administrators at schools/districts that¬†purchased access via a site license,¬†will be granted access to the Supersite(s) by July 1, 2018.¬†If you have completed an acknowledgement form and do not yet have access,¬†please email your Upgrade Specialist.
    • Teachers will be granted access to the Supersite(s) by July 1, 2018. In the meantime, teachers may add demo access to their account themselves by selecting the "demo other titles" button on their account Home page.

  • How soon can teachers set up 2018-2019 academic year courses in a program's upgraded Supersite?
    • As soon as teachers have full access, which will be by July 1, 2018.
    • Teachers with demo access may create courses at any time, but students will not be able to access the course prior to July 1, 2018.
  • How soon can students access a program's upgraded Supersite?
    • If your school purchased access via a site license:¬†Student seats in the upgraded Supersite will be available beginning July 1, 2018.
    • If your school purchased access codes for each student or if it requires students/parents to purchase codes:¬†Students will not be able to access courses in the upgraded Supersite prior to July 1, 2018.
  • Does the transition to a program's upgraded Supersite affect the access duration for users (students and teachers)?¬†
    • If your school purchased access via a site license: No, the school/district retains the remaining time on a program's site license.
    • If your school purchased access codes for each student or if it requires students/parents to purchase codes: No, length of access granted by a code retains the remaining time.
