Currently, audio recordings are only saved for Evaluation activities, so it’s not possible to listen to audio recordings for Practice mode activities.
In Practice activities, students do not record their voice; they either type or dictate their responses. Student voice audio recordings are not stored for these activities. If you want audio recordings to be available, the activity must be set as an Evaluation activity.
Potential Workaround
The latest activity settings release in 2025 allows instructors to turn off text input and audio transcriptions; Practice activities then essentially function as an Evaluation activity (from the recording perspective, ignoring the help features). For those activities, audio recordings are available for playback in the grading details page.
