The My Vocabulary tool allows you to study vocabulary words associated with each unit or lesson. Each word includes a definition, sample sentence, and audio file next to each vocabulary word.. You can also add new words and customize their definitions to create a more focused vocabulary list, making this an effective and flexible study tool.
The Vocabulary List page offers several useful tools:
- Use the "View" drop-down menu to filter:
- Lessons in your course
- Lessons in you program
- Each vocabulary word includes:
- Sample audio file
- Definition
- Sample Sentence
- + Add Word: Manually add a new vocabulary word, include a definition and a sample sentence
- Print a Vocabulary study sheet of terms and definitions
The Flashcards landing page provides a clean starting point with quick access to key actions.
- Flashcards include audio files (speaker icon) for each vocabulary term
- Flashcards display the vocabulary term images from the dictionary
- Control and track your progress while practicing flashcards, by clicking “Got it” or “Not yet”
- Students will have a summary of the deck with the total vocabulary terms learned and terms missed.
