This view allows you to focus on the work of one student. It presents a student's overall (cumulative) grade, as well as an average for each assignment category in your course. It is perfect for use during meetings with a student to review an assignment or during parent-teacher meetings to review a student’s overall performance. Students see a similar view of their grades in their account.
- From the Scores view in the Gradebook, click on a student name.
- The student view opens in a separate browser window.

Scores
In the Scores area of the single student view, you can use the navigation menus to locate assignments by lesson, due date, and category. Items displayed in the results table include assignment and submission links plus the student’s submission statistics. Statistics include assignment score, points earned, points possible, attempts used, time spent (mm:ss), status of the assignment, submission time/date stamp, due date/time.
- To change the assignments being displayed in the Scores table, use the navigation drop-down menus to view by lesson or due date for All Categories or for a specific category.
- In the results table, review the statistics and click on the student’s grade for an assignment to make any adjustments to the grade. Note: For instructions, see “Adjust a student's Earned Score on an Assignment” in Gradebook Scores: Adjust Student Grades.
View Unassigned Work
In the Unassigned area of the single student view, you can use the navigation menus to locate unassigned, completed work by lesson. Items displayed in the results table include assignment and submission links plus the student’s submission statistics. Statistics include score, points earned, points possible, time spent (mm:ss), and submission time/date stamp.
- To change the assignments being displayed in the table, use the navigation drop-down menus.
- In the results table, review the statistics and click on the student’s grade to review the student's submission.
