Yes. System-automated program edition upgrades are offered to students who have sufficient time remaining on an existing code for the previous edition when they enroll in a course in the new edition. This only applies to:
- select programs
- consecutive editions of a program (examples follow)
- 3/e to 4/e qualifies for an edition upgrade
- 3/e to 5/e does NOT qualify for an edition
- schools requiring student codes for program access
- redeemed codes with remaining access until the course end date
- During course enrollment, a pop-up modal explains that the course section in which the student is enrolling is using the new edition and that there is enough time remaining in the prior edition code to granted access to the new edition course.
- Click Confirm to accept the access granted.
