The New Program Navigation Layout
We’ve redesigned the navigation experience on vhlcentral to provide a simpler, more consistent platform that makes it easier for both instructors and students to find what they need quickly and confidently. Navigation is simplified and more intuitive—giving you faster access to the tools that matter most.

Instructor Experience Updates
The navigation bar features a cleaner look with a white background and a red underline for the active menu.

The Dashboard is now accessed by clicking the Program Logo at top left (rather than a separate menu).
New Menus
New Assignments section:
All assignment tools (including the assignment calendar) are grouped in the Assignments section. A new submenu at the top right in Assignments directs to the Assign to Individuals and Reorder Assignments areas.
Educators can still assign from the Activity Library in Content (formerly located in Assign>Activities).
New Grades section:
The Grades section includes Grade Assignments (formerly known as Grading), View Gradebook (formerly known as Gradebook), Manage Roster (formerly found in Gradebook>Roster), and Analyze Performance (formerly known as Analytics).
New submenu in Gradebook View section:
- The Gradebook View now includes a new (kebab) menu to view Late Work and access Reports features.
New Content section:
The new Content section includes the Activity Library (formerly known as Activities), Assessment Library (formerly known as Assessment), and Custom Content (includes shared and self-created content; formerly known as My Content).
Updated Menus
Tools and Communication sections:
Tools and Communications sections are reorganized for easier access, and Student Technical Support has been removed.
Updated Tools section:
The Tools section brings together the tools available, which can vary from program to program. All programs include Browser Resources, while some will also have vText, eCompanion (online versions of the student text) or eBook, as well as Instructor's Manual, Portfolio Dashboard.
Updated Communication section:
- The Communications section includes menu selections to access Announcements, Forums, and Student Requests.
