Creating Custom Sections in ClassLink for Classes Using Multiple VHL Programs

For districts that send OneRoster files via ClassLink (using SFTP exports), it is possible to create custom sections using the ClassLink Roster Server’s Manual Records feature. This allows students enrolled in a single class to access more than one VHL program.

How It Works

ClassLink’s Manual Records feature enables districts to add custom section data that is included in the daily roster sync, alongside standard rostered data. This ensures that custom sections are processed and shared consistently with your existing integration.
